On the hunt for Grosbeaks Nest

Well now that their back, I'm curious where they always build their nests every year. I know they like thickets and trees and that is what my ravine is. I know they don't fly to far when they leave the feeder. I'm going to have to sit on my back deck and watch and see the area where they fly to and from. Then, hike down into the thickets and see if I can spot it. Their usually 5 to 20 ft. about the ground. They are made of loosely woven twigs, and stems, then lined with grasses, roots and hair. It's going to be interested finding them. I have two pairs so far, so theirs two nests down there. Hopefully find them before the buds on the trees mature anymore. Then I really will have a tuff time locating them. I better get started, we just got some nice rain, it will green up fast!
